The Slingshot Alien Air is one of the very first hydrofoil kite surfboards. On Slingshot"s Alien Air, probably more people have learned to hydrofoil than with any other board. And the great thing about the Slingshot Alien Air is that you don"t have to get rid of this board when you can already ride back and forth on the hydrofoil. The Slingshot Alien Air 2019 is easy and forgiving, a timeless choice where you can make your first transitions and jumps with and your first meters on the hydrofoil.The Slingshot Alien Air has a short, wide, thick design with a concave and a nice big rocker in the nose. All this ensures that you can easily learn to hydrofoil. Due to the wide and thick design, the Slingshot Alien Air has a large floating surface and a high volume. This allows you to easily ride on the Slingshot Alien Air without the hydrofoil wing pushing you straight into the air. If you are ready to ride on the wing above the water, the Alien Air 2019 is your best friend. In the beginning you often go "pearling", you pop with the nose of your foilboard on the water. Due to the large rocker / scoop in the nose of the Alien Air, you will be less likely to make a hard nose dive than with other hydrofoil kite surfboards.
At the bottom of the Slingshot Alien Air hydofoil kiteboard is the well-known Slingshot "sliding track" system. With this user-friendly system you can play with the place where you attached the hydrofoil wing at the bottom of the Slingshot Alien Air. Slightly more forward or backward for slightly more agile or more stable riding characteristics. In the deck of the Alien Air are inserts to ride the Alien Air with straps or a foothook. We recommend starting with a foothoor or straps on only the front inserts and starting strapless as quickly as possible. The Slingshot Alien Air 2019 comes with a full deckpad and mounting hardware.
