The Mixer XR 2021 from Slingshot excels in small waves or choppy conditions and is also able to transform such "lesser" conditions into a dynamic playground that every kiter can enjoy to the fullest. This year the board is built with the brand new XR construction, a hybrid EPS composition that achieves the optimal balance of weight and strength. Due to its high volume, technical shape and winged round pintail, the Mixer XR creates the true surfboard feels in small, less powerful waves and lighter winds.

A versatile, performance-oriented shortboard for ripping smaller waves and chop, that"s how the Mixer XR is best described. This directional kiteboard from Slingshot features the latest XR construction. This is an evolution of the hybrid EPS construction that delivers incredible response, snap and lightweight performance. To focus on versatility, the Mixer XR has a winged rounded pintail that provides stability, control and performance in most surf conditions.The Mixer XR"s quad concave bottom shape and a Versa Five Fin configuration create a highly versatile board that can be easily adjusted according to personal preference or the conditions. It can be set up as a Thruster, as a Quad or even with five fins. The board also comes with FCSII Reactor fins and Corduroy EVA deck pad. If you want to ride the board with more grip and control under your feet, you would probably prefer the Thruster fin setup. But if you want to go a little more speed, the Quad fin set up is best suited.
The essence of the Mixer XR 2021 is to give the desired speed and manoeuvrability, even in small surf. The board literally floats through the messy and slow wave sections, while maintaining speed to find the powerful sections of the wave. A carbon stringer through the length gives the Mixer some stiffness and durability. The edges of the tail are also provided with extra carbon reinforcements. The foot strap positions are in-line for the best possible foot position.
