Ride Engine is the inventor of the hard shell harness. In the beginning other brands were pretty skeptical about the hard shell harness , but in the meantime other brands included the hardshell in the collection as well. At Ride Engine the harness is central to the product line, it is their most important product. That is why you can assume that the new Prime Shell, the successor to the Hex Core, is even better and more comfortable than its predecessor. A hard shell harness fits better on your body and gives you a much greater wearing comfort than a normal softshell harness.New this year in the Ride Engine Prime shell is the Shell Skin and Anti-Slip pull straps. The Shell sSkin has improved UV protection and is even more durable than its predecessor. The edges of the hard shell are slightly more flexible compared to previous years for an even more comfortable feeling. The anti-slip pull straps are super easy to put on due to the new structure and sit very tight in the buckle.
The fiberglass plate is ergonomically shaped to the shapes of your body so that you really have a locked-in feeling with your harness and doesn"t slide up while kitesurfing. The spreader bar is easily fixed attatched with the speed lock system. If you are more of a wave rider you can choose the metal slider bar. This spreaderbar has a rope to which you attach your chickenloop so that it moves with you when you kite and make fast truns.
The inside of the Ride Engine Prime Shell harness is equipped with Fusion Foam so that the rigid, hard harness feels soft and comfortable. The new Ride Engine Prime Shell is one of the most comfortable, ergonomically shaped hard shells in its class!
